Classic Stories Episode #13 - Behind the Scene: Learn all about the story behind the video.

Why the Polo?

Leslie obviously began loving the Polo just days before she was born when her Mum was driving her Polo on a slalom track. Since then the Polo was always a part of her life and it is now her family heritage and her identity.

Leslie remembers when her Dad picked up a used Polo that broke down on a motorway. Her Grandpa bought it right of the owner and it became her Dads first car. Since then the Polo in several generations became a solid part oft her family. Of course her first car was also a Polo, a red 86c that was given to her on her 18th Birthday by her parents. At first she did’nt really like it because it was a standart Polo but soon she startet working on that car giving it a sports chassis and new rims. This Polo is with her to this day.

A special Polo collection:

The Richter family's passion for the Volkswagen brand, and especially for the VW Polo, spans all generations. From a Polo Mk1 modified into a hill climb car, to a Polo Mk2 86C with a sporty chassis, to a Polo Mk4 9N as a daily driver. A unique collection with a lot of heart and soul.
We introduce them to you:
