The first LT generation was built almost unchanged for exactly 21 years and is therefore the Volkswagen with the longest production time in Europe after the Beetle. In 1975 the LT (German: Lasten Transporter) came on the market as the big brother of the T2 and was used in all areas. Hardly any commercial vehicle has been delivered in so many variants as the LT. Today, the LT mobile homes are very popular and not rare to find.
