This right-hand rubber mount is intended for the steering gear or track rod of vehicles equipped with power steering. Depending on the vehicle specification, it is suitable for the VW Golf Mk1 from model years 1982 to 1984, the VW Golf Mk1 Cabriolet from model years 1982 to 1993, the VW Jetta Mk1 from model years 1982 to 1984, and the VW Scirocco Mk2 from model years 1982 to 1992.
The rubber mount is fitted on the right-hand side of the vehicle and belongs to the steering gear or power steering assembly. It additionally specifies the identifier S704 for the VW Golf and engine code EW for the VW Scirocco.
